Financial Literacy of Selected Group of Population

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční gramotnost a finanční vzdělávání seniorů v České republice. Cílem je analýza aktuálního stavu finanční gramotnosti této části populace v ČR a prokázání možné zásadní role komerčních bank v jejím růstu. Na základě analýzy současného stavu finančního vzdělávání je formou dotazníkového šetření proveden průzkum mezi seniory, zjištěna souvislost mezi rozsahem využívaných bankovních služeb a úrovní finanční gramotnosti. Na základě zjištěných závěrů jsou vyhodnoceny předem stanovené hypotézy a navržen způsob růstu úrovně finanční gramotnosti ve spolupráci s komerčními bankami.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on financial literacy and financial education of seniors in the Czech Republic. The aim is to analyze the current state of financial literacy of this part of the population in the Czech Republic and demonstrating the possible crucial role of commercial banks in its growth. On the basis of the analysis of the current state of financial education, a questionnaire survey is carried out by a survey among the elderly, a link is established between the range of banking services used and the level of financial literacy. On the basis of the findings, the predetermined hypotheses are evaluated and a way of increasing the level of financial literacy in cooperation with commercial banks
