Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou výukové jednotky využívající virtuální terénní výuku a následném ověření její využitelnosti z pohledu žáků. Virtuální terénní výuka byla tvořena na stezce okolo Černého a Čertova jezera pomocí sférických fotografií s doprovodnými pracovními listy. Efektivita virtuální terénní výuky byla ověřena při výuce zeměpisu na základní škole v 9. třídě. Pohledy a postoje žáků k virtuální terénní výuce byly zkoumány pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníkové šetření mělo také za úkol zodpovědět dvě stanovené výzkumné otázky: "Považují žáci navrženou VR procházku za přínosnou z pohledu porozumění učiva?" "Je z pohledu žáků navržená VR procházka efektivní v zobrazování geografických témat?" Současně proběhl i polostrukturovaný rozhovor s učitelkou zeměpisu, který poskytl informace o předchozím využívání virtuální reality ve výuce a upozornil na potenciální technické komplikace, které se mohou během výuky vyskytnout.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a VR terrain-based educational geography unit and verifying its applicability from the students' perspective. The virtual terrain-based unit was created on a trail around Black and Devil's Lake using spherical photographs with accompanying worksheets. The effectiveness of the virtual terrain-based unit was verified during a 9th grade geography lesson at a primary school. Students' views and attitudes towards the virtual terrain-based unit were explored using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey was also designed to answer two stated research questions, "Do students find the designed VR tour beneficial in terms of understanding the geographical topics?" "Is the proposed VR tour effective in depicting the geographical topics from the students' point of view?" At the same time, a semi-structured interview was conducted with a geography teacher, who provided information about previous use of virtual reality in teaching and pointed out potential technical complications that may occur during the lesson.
