Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na využití jednotlivých prvků konceptu Bazální stimulace u pacienta s diagnózou vigilního kómatu s aktivním zapojením členů rodiny do ošetřovatelské péče. Teoretická část se zabývá konceptem Bazální stimulace, jeho historickým vývojem, využitím v intenzivní péči, biografickou anamnézou pacienta, základním dělením prvků konceptu a také se zabývá významem rodiny.
