Fine-grained user status on resources in Perun system

Abstract:

Perun is a system which manages users and their access to services. Access to services is controlled via groups of members, assuring all the members have recorded all the information needed by the system. For the group to be able to be used for managing the service access, all of its members must have all the information filled in correctly, otherwise the group cannot be used, which is a shortcoming. In this thesis, changes resulting in the ability to assign the access to services to the group in spite of not having all the informaton filled in by some of the members were suggested and implemented in Perun.

Abstract:

Perun je systém určený pre správu používateľov a riadenie prístupu na služby. Prístup na služby je riadený cez skupiny používateľov, pričom je zaistené, že všetci členovia skupiny majú v systéme evidované všetky informácie, ktoré sú k tomu potrebné. Nedostatok spočíva v tom, že aby mohla byť skupina používateľov použitá pre riadenie prístupu na službu, musia mať všetci jej členovia tieto informácie korektne vyplnené. V opačnom prípade nie je možné skupinu pre riadenie prístupu na službu použiť. Preto boli v tejto práci navrhnuté zmeny, ktorých výsledkom je ich implementácia v systéme Perun, vďaka čomu je možné priradiť skupine prístup na službu aj napriek tomu, že nemajú všetci jej členovia vyplnené všetky požadované informácie.
