Company strategic analysis

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Strategická analýza podniku“ je vytvoření komplexní strategické analýzy vybraného podniku KOVO ROPÁK s.r.o. za použití dostupných metod strategické analýzy podniku, s cílem vytvořit vhodnou strategii pro daný podnik a definovat tak konkurenční schopnost podniku. První část práce je teoretická, zaměřuje se na problematiku strategické analýzy, a to jak vnější, tak vnitřní, nástroje jejího provedení a vysvětlení jednotlivých pojmů. V praktické části práce jsou teoretické poznatky z části první aplikovány na vybraný podnik a na základě jednotlivých analýz jsou identifikovány silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby. Pro analýzu vnějšího prostředí je použita PESTLE analýza a Porterův model pěti sil, pro vnitřní analýzu je využita Analýza podnikových faktorů a Finanční analýza. Výstupy z těchto analýz jsou shrnuty ve SWOT matici na základě, které jsou vytvořené konkrétní doporučení a návrhy strategií podniku.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis “Strategic analysis of company“ is to create a complex strategic analysis of the selected company KOVO ROPÁK s.r.o. by using available methods of strategic business analysis with the aim to create an appropriate strategy for the company and to define its competitive ability. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, it focuses on an issue of strategic analysis, for both external and internal environment, instruments of its implementation and explanation of individual concepts. In the practical part of the thesis, the theoretical knowledge from the first part is applied to selected company and on the base of individual analyzes there are identified strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. For analysis of an external environment the PESTLE analysis and the Porter’s five forces model is used, for an internal environment analysis the analysis of internal sources and financial analysis is used. The outcomes of these analyzes are summarized in the SWOT matrix, based on which the specific recommendations and suggestions for company strategies are created.
