The resumption of swimming and crossfit in a sports patient following polytrauma from a road accident: clinical case

Abstract:

In this thesis we will deal with the rehabilitation process of a patient with polytrauma from a road accident presenting: right bimalleolar fracture, right first cuneiform fracture, right Lisfranc fracture / dislocation. Ankle fracture means the breakage of one or more bones that make up the ankle joint (tibia, fibula, talus). There are various types of fractures, from the "simple" fracture that involves only one bone and is more stable, to the more complex fracture that affects several bones and which can cause you to be unable to walk for a few months due to the lack of stability.

Abstract:

In questa tesi si andra a trattare il percorso riabilitativo di un pazientecon politrauma da incidente della strada che presenta: frattura bimalleolare dx, frattura primo cuneiforme dx, frattura/lussazione di Lisfranc dx. Per frattura di caviglia si intende la rottura di una o pi? ossa che costituiscono l'articolazione della caviglia (tibia, perone, astragalo). Vi sono svariati tipi di frattura, dalla frattura "semplice" che coinvolge un solo osso ed ? pi? stabile, alla frattura pi? complessa che interessa pi? ossa e che pu? causare l'impossibilit? di camminare per qualche mese data la poca stabilit?.
