Práce se věnuje tématu československého bojkotu olympijských her v Los Angeles v roce 1984 a her Družba, které byly „vzdorohrami“ pro sportovce ze socialistických zemí. Je zaměřena především na politické zákulisí a okolnosti těchto událostí. Práce zohledňuje i světové politické klima této doby a širší okolnosti, které ho určovaly. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the topic of the Czechoslovak boycott of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the Druzhba Games, which were "defiant" for athletes from socialist countries. It focuses mainly on the political background and circumstances of these events. The work also takes into account the global political climate of the time and the wider circumstances that determined it. It describes chronologically …more
