Babie´s uropoetic system examination

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce je vypracována na téma vyšetření uropoetického systému u malých dětí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část a studii. V první kapitole teoretické části je stručně popsána anatomická skladba močového systému. Další kapitola zmiňuje některá z onemocnění, která u dětí tento systém postihují. Jsou to především vrozené vady (ledvin a močových cest) a infekce močových cest. Ve třetí kapitole jsou rozebrány jednotlivé zobrazovací metody (ultrasonografické, radiodiagnostické a radionuklidové metody), které se využívají v diagnostice onemocnění močového systému u dětí. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se zabývá problematikou vyšetřování dětských pacientů, biologickými účinky záření a radiační ochranou. Práce s dětmi je náročná, děti mají strach, neposlouchají pokyny, hýbou se, proto je potřeba zacházet s nimi jinak, než s pacienty dospělými. Je důležité jim průběh vyšetření vysvětlit v rozsahu pro ně přijatelném, když dítě ví, co může očekávat, jde vyšetření provést rychleji, kvalitněji a není potřeba ho opakovat, čímž se snižuje radiační zátěž pacienta. Poslední část práce se věnuje vlastní studii. Studie je zaměřena na vyšetření pomocí mikční cystoureterografie k prokázání nebo vyloučení vezikoureterálního refluxu. Do studie je zahrnuto 46 dětských pacientů, kteří toto vyšetření podstoupili na radiodiagnostickém oddělení Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava v období od 1. 1. do 31. 12. 2011.

Abstract:

The subject of my bachelor thesis is the examination of young children's uropoetic system. The work is divided into two parts: the theoretical part and the pratical part - the study. The first chapter of theoretical part contains brief description of the anatomical structure of urinary system. Next chapter mentions some of diseases that affect this system of children. They are mostly congenital defects (of kidneys and urinary tract) and urinary tract infections. The third chapter is focused on different displaying methods (ultrasonography, radiodiagnostic and radionuclide methods) that are used for diagnosing diseases of the urinary system of young children. The last chapter deals with the examination of pediatric patients, the biological effects of radiation and protection from radiation. Working with children is difficult, the children are afraid, they do not follow instructions, they move, so it is necessary to treat them differently than adult patients. It is important to explain to them the course of the examination (in the way they can understand to). When the child knows what to expect, the examination can be faster, better and there is no need to repeat it, reducing the radiation dose recieved by the patient. The last part is devoted to study itself. It is focused on examination by voiding cystouretherography to prove or exclude vesicoureteral reflux. The study includes 46 children who underwent this examination at radiodiagnostic department at University Hospital in Ostrava between 1 January and 31 December 2011.
