Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá překladem spojení "be going to", které v angličtine slouží pro vyjádření budoucnosti s podtónem predikce nebo plánu. Práce na českých a slovenských překladech Davida Copperfielda a Hlavy 22 ukazuje, jaké možné překladové ekvivalenty zmíněného spojení v češtině a slovenštině existují, popisuje frekvenci jejich výskytu a částečně i vysvětluje jejich užití v dané situaci. Abstract:
This thesis deals with translational equivalents of "be going to" as found in the Czech and Slovak translations of "David Copperfield" and "Catch 22", analyses their range and frequency and describes their specific usage in the searched texts.
