Abstract:

Bakalářská práce ,,Světelný objekt jako využití alternativních materiálů" pojednává o možnosti zpracování již jednou použitých, nevšedních, neobvyklých, či recyklovatelných materiálů. Výsledkem je vytvoření série, která se skládá ze tří světelných objektů. Ty spojuje druh použitého materiálu a tvar, odlišují se jiným technologickým postupem a velikostí. Díky tomu, že světlo v objektech proniká skrz určitý materiál, vytváří tím různorodé efekty a intimní atmosféru. Práce se dělí na část praktickou, kde je popsaný a zdokumentovaný výrobní postup a část teoretickou, v níž se zabývám historií světla, inspirací pro tuto práci, vlastnostmi samotných materiálů, umělci, kteří se tímto druhem designu zabývají a historií mých podobných prací z minulosti. K práci jsou přiloženy také další návrhy, které předcházely konečnému výběru těch vítězných, pracovní nákresy, 3D vizualizace, dotazník, malby, monotyp a lept.

Abstract:

Bachelor's thesis "Light object as the use of alternative materials" deals with the usage of recycled or uncommon materials. The outcome is the series of three light objects which differ from each other in the used technological processes and materials. The light produces various effects and intimate atmosphere thanks to going through a certain material. The thesis has two parts; the first part is theoretical in which a history of lights, inspirations for this work, the properties of the materials, artists in this field and history of similar works in the past are discussed; and the second part is practical and describes and shows the process of production. Other drafts of design are provided to the thesis; those were the initial drafts before the three which were actually produced were chosen together with 3D visualization, a questionnaire, paintworks, a monotype, an etching and the models of the created objects.
