Abstract:

Pre operácie v oblasti kybernetickej bezpečnosti je veľmi dôležité budovať spoľahlivé bázy znalostí o dostupnom softvéri a službách. Táto práca skúma rôzne zdroje pre zoznamy softvéru a analyzuje ich vlastnosti. Potom kombinuje silné stránky vybraných zdrojov s cieľom maximalizovať objem informácií o konkrétnom softvérovom produkte. Primárne sa zameriava na sústredenie informácií, ako sú metadáta, popisy, tagy používania, metriky popularity u používateľov a referencie. Nakoniec táto práca poskytuje návrh a implementáciu nástroja na automatizované vytváranie registra služieb.

Abstract:

Building robust knowledge bases of available software and services is crucial for cybersecurity operations. This thesis explores various sources for software enumerations and analyzes their characteristics. Then, it combines the strong points of the chosen sources to maximize information volume about a particular software asset. The primary focus is concentrating information, such as metadata, descriptions, usage tags, user popularity metrics, and references. Lastly, this work provides the design and implementation of a proof-of-concept tool for automated service registry creation.
