Literární ceny v současné složité situaci na knižním trhu plní několik funkcí. K nejdůležitějším se řadí informativní, propagační a selektivní. Literary Awards have many function in actually difficult situation on the book market. The most important functions are informative, advertising and selective. We can state it about the Literary Awards for the children’s and youth literature too.
