Heracles in Fiore d’Italia by Guido da Pisa
Abstract:
Diplomová práce si klade za úkol postihnout proměny mýtu o Hérakleovi v historicko-mytologické kompilaci Fiore d’Italia od italského středověkého autora Guidona da Pisa. Obraz hrdiny v Guidonově pojetí je porovnáván s vybranými díly klasických antických autorů. S ohledem na morální intenci díla se práce zabývá i hérakleovskými prvky v Božské komedii od Danta Alighieriho.
Abstract:
The master's thesis aims at defining the changes of the myth of Heracles in the historical-mythological compilation Fiore d'Italia by the Italian medieval author Guido da Pisa. The hero image in Guido's concept is compared with selected works of ancient writers. Because of the moral intention of the work, the thesis also deals with Heracles references in the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.
