Audit of the financial statements in an enterprise

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis „Audit of the financial statements in an enterprise“ are an analysis of the methods used in profession of auditors specifying by International Standards on Auditing and application of them to the selected company. The theoretical part consists of introduction to auditing, audit technology, selection of attributes for control tests and variables for substantive tests and presentation of particular auditing methods. In the practical part there is the application of theoretical knowledge to the selected company. In the final part I evaluate results and conclusions I have reached.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce „Audit účetní závěrky podniku“ je analýza metód, ktoré sú využívané v audítorskej praxi za pomoci Medzinárodných audítorských štandardov a ich aplikácia na vybraný výrobný podnik. Teoretická časť sa skladá zo samotného úvodu do auditu, technológie auditu, výberu atribútov pre kontrolné testy a premenných pre substantívne testy a z prezentáciou jednotlivých audítorských metód. Praktická časť aplikuje teoretické poznatky vhodných metód na vybraný podnik. V závere vyhodnocujem výsledky a závery, ku ktorým som dospel na základe použitých metód.
