Differences in support of family physical activity among students of 3rd and 6th primary school at the Okružní Street in Bruntál

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo porovnat podporu pohybové aktivity (PA) ze strany rodiny mezi žáky třetích a šestých tříd základní školy na ulici Okružní ve městě Bruntál a zjistit, zda se mění věkem dítěte. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 86 žáků třetích a šestých tříd.Pro diagnostiku PA byla využita kvantitativní metoda dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník obsahoval 20 uzavřených otázek týkajících se vlivu podpory PA ze strany rodiny. Na základě získaných dat z dotazníkového šetření bylo provedeno jejich vyhodnocení v programu Microsoft Excel. U vybraných otázek byla posouzena významnost rozdílu na základě četnosti pomocí statistického testu Chí-kvadrát testu, který určuje statistickou významnost. Hladina statistické významnosti byla stanovena < 0,05. Z výsledků lze konstatovat,že podpora PA ze strany rodiny je větší u žáků třetích tříd. Zjištěné výsledy mohou být důležitou informací pro rodiče dětí a pedagogy ve školách, kteří přicházejí do kontaktu s dětmi mladšího a staršího školního věku.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to compare the support of physical activity (PA) from the family side of the pupils of the third and sixth grades of the elementary school on the street Okružní in the town of Bruntál and find out if it changes the age of the child. 86 third and sixth grade pupils participated in the research. The quantitative questionnaire method was used for PA diagnostics. The questionnaire contained 20 closed questions about family support for PA support. Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, their evaluation was performed in Microsoft Excel. The significance of the difference on the basis of frequency was assessed for selected questions using the Chi-square test, which determines statistical significance. The level of statistical significance was determined to be < 0,05. It can be concluded from the results that family support for PA is greater for third-class pupils. The findings may be an important information for parents of children and school teachers who come into contact with younger and older children.
