Ethical conflicts of pre-hospital emergency care and disaster medicine

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou etiky v přednemocniční neodkladné péči a medicíně katastrof. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní etické pojmy. Dále se věnujeme komunikaci s pacientem, jeho okolím a některými zvláštními typy komunikace. V následující části se zaměřujeme na problematiku informovaného souhlasu v přednemocniční neodkladné péči (PNP). Další kapitolu práce jsme soustřeďovali na kardiopulmonální resuscitaci (KPR), která s sebou přináší etické problémy, například přítomnost rodinných příslušníků při KPR. Zabýváme se také etikou multikulturního ošetřovatelství v prostředí PNP. Do poslední kapitoly teoretické části práce jsme zařadili etické problémy spojené s medicínou katastrof. Praktická část je zaměřena na zjištění úrovně znalostí členů výjezdových skupin Zdravotnické záchranné služby Plzeňského kraje (ZZS Pk) v oblasti etiky. Dále zkoumá, s jakými etickými problémy se členové posádek setkávají nejčastěji v prostředí PNP a hromadného neštěstí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with Ethical conflicts of pre-hospital emergency care and disaster medicine. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part offers the explanation of basic ethical terms. Next, we attend to the communication with the patient, his surroundings and some of the unusual types of communication. In the following part we focus on the informed agreement conflict in pre-hospital emergency care (PEC). The next chapter is focused more on the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which containts some ethical problems, for example dealing with relatives during the CPR. We also employ ourselfs in the multicultural nursing conflicts in PEC. The last chapter of theory is about the conflicts in disaster medicine. Practial part is more focused on establishing the ethical knowledge levels of every ambulance car group member in Emergency medical service of the Pilsen region. It also examines the most common problems which the ambulance car group members must deal with in pre-medical emergency care and disaster medicine.
