This diploma thesis focuses on the stereotypes of Native Americans in the Hollywood movie industry including brief history and reasons leading towards these stereotypes. Diplomová práce se zabývá zobrazováním původních Američanů v Hollywoodském filmovém průmyslu. Soustřeďuje se na stereotypy, jejich stručnou historii a důvody, které k nim vedly. Teoretická část nastiňuje prostřednictvím dobových filmů, jaké byly nejčastější stereotypy. Praktická část pak zjišťuje, zda si čeští diváci všimnou oněch stereotypů.
