Czech Travel Literature About Greece at the End of 19th Century
Abstract:
Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo poskytnout náhled do české cestopisné literatury o Řecku na konci 19. století a prezentovat pohled vybraných autorů především na soudobé Řecko a Řeky. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na antiku v českých krajinách v 19. století a na podmínky cestování do Řecka v tomto období.
Abstract:
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to provide insight into the Czech travel literature about Greece at the end of the 19th century and then present the view of selected authors on contemporary Greece and the Greeks. The theoretical part focuses on the antiquity in the Bohemian countries in the 19th century and the conditions of travelling to Greece during this period.
