Vocal Arrangements for A Capella Singing

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tvorbou úprav pro zpěv a capella. Autor popisuje metodu jejich tvorby a široké spektrum technik, které nám při práci mohou pomoci. V teoretické části práce autor charakterizuje jednotlivé hlasové skupiny a práci s nimi. Praktická část je pak věnována samotné tvorbě úprav a capella. Cílem práce je seskupení vědomostí v této oblasti a jejich poskytnutí nejen pro začínající aranžéry či učitele pracující se sbory a vokálními skupinami, ale i pro zkušené sbormistry, kteří chtějí pro svůj sbor vytvářet vlastní a nevšední repertoár.

Abstract:

The thesis is concerned with a creation of arrangement for a capella singing. The autor describes methods of creating arangements and spectrum of techniques, which can help us during arrangement. In the theoretical part there is description of voice types and characterization of work with them. Practical part is devoted to creation of a capella arangements. The aim of theses is provide the "know-how" not only for starting arranger and teachers working with school choirs or vocal groups, but also for experianced choir conductor, who want to creat original repertoire.
