Evaluation of the impact of rain separators Vejprnice creek

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje monitoringu vlivu dešťových oddělovačů na Vejprnickém potoce. Monitoring jakosti povrchové vody, je důležité sledovat, neboť je neustále aktuální. Hodnocení kvality vody je povinné pro města i státy v EU. Cílem práce bylo posoudit, jaký vliv mají vybrané dešťové oddělovače na kvalitu vodního toku. Dále zdokumentovat tok a posoudit, jaká další vlivy na tok působí a jak se tyto vlivy projevují. Teoretická část se věnuje urbánní hydrologii. Zabývá se chováním toků v urbánní krajině. Dále v teoretické části představuji hodnotící klasifikace jakosti povrchové vody, způsob měření vybraného ukazatele, kterým je elektrolytická konduktivita. Další kapitola se zabývá tzv.: "prvním splachem". V praktické části pracuji se sběrem terénních dat, která vyhodnocuji, a podle klasifikací rozřazuji. Cílem je výsledné hodnoty zdůvodnit pomocí klasifikací a dále zhodnotit následky naměřených hodnot na Vejprnickém potoce. V práci bylo zjištěno, že dešťové oddělovače negativně ovlivňují kvalitu vejprnického potoka a to například jakost povrchových vod nebo morfologii toku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the monitoring of the impact of rain separators on the Vejprnice creek. Monitoring of the quality of the surface water is important as it is constantly up-to-date. Water quality assessment is a mandatory for the cities and states in the EU. The aim of this work was to assess the influence of selected rain separators on the quality of watercourse. Also to document the flow and assess other influences on the flow and how these effects are manifested. The theoretical part deals with urban hydrology. It deals with the behavior of flows in urban landscape. Furthermore, in the theoretical part, I present the classification of surface water quality, the method of measuring the selected indicator, which is electrolytic conductivity. Next chapter deals with the "first flush". In the practical part I work with the collection of the field data, which I evaluate and classify according to the classifications. The aim is to justify the resulting values by means of classifications and to further evaluate the consequences of the measured values on the Vejprnice creek. It was found out that rain separators negatively influence the quality of the Vejprnice creek, for example the surface water quality or the morphology of the flow.
