Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu a srovnání zařízení pro pozorování za snížené viditelnosti, konkrétně nočního vidění a termovize. Práce porovnává Mum-14, kompaktní monokulární noktovizor, a FLIR TAU 2, termokameru s vysokým rozlišením. Práce hodnotí silné a slabé stránky obou technologií a jejich uživatelskou přijatelnost pro vojenské využití. Noční vidění poskytuje detailnější obraz, ale je závislé na dostupnosti světla, zatímco termovize detekuje teplotní rozdíly a je nezávislá na světelných podmínkách. Volba mezi těmito technologiemi závisí na konkrétních potřebách a prostředí, ve kterém budou použity. Praktická část práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací Mum-14 a FLIR TAU 2 v různých situacích a aplikacích. Výsledky ukazují, že termovize je vhodnější pro záchranné mise a vojenské operace na větší vzdálenosti, zatímco noční vidění je lepší alternativou pro sledování cílů v obydlených oblastech a uzavřených prostorách. Práce také diskutuje možné inovace a budoucí vývoj v oblasti přístrojů pro pozorování za snížené viditelnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of devices for observation under reduced visibility, specifically night vision and thermal imaging. The thesis compares the Mum-14, a compact monocular night vision device, and the FLIR TAU 2, a high-resolution thermal camera. The thesis evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of both technologies and their user acceptability for military use. Night vision provides a more detailed image but is dependent on the availability of light, while thermal imaging detects temperature differences and is independent of lighting conditions. The choice between these technologies depends on the specific needs and environment in which they will be used. The practical part of the work deals with the analysis and comparison of the Mum-14 and FLIR TAU 2 in various situations and applications. The results show that thermal imaging is, more suitable for rescue missions and military operations at greater distances, while night vision is a better alternative for tracking targets in inhabited areas and enclosed spaces. The work also discusses possible innovations and future developments in the field of devices for observation under reduced visibility.
