Lifestyle of solo-living singles

Abstract:

Teoreticky koncipovaná bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou mladých lidí, kteří žijí bez partnera a dětí. V první části práce se seznámíme s problematikou mladých lidí bez partnerského vztahu, definujeme si tuto skupinu a zaměříme se na stigmatizaci a typologie singles. Práce se zabývá demografickými charakteristikami jako věkové a vzdělanostní rozložení singles. Problematiku popíšeme i z hlediska pohlaví a sociálních tříd. Dále se práce zaměří na vznik fenoménu a na okolnosti jeho šíření, které je způsobeno především druhou demografickou tranzicí, procesem individualizace, vstupem žen na pracovní trh apod. Dále srovnáme celosvětovou a tuzemskou situaci, tedy ve kterých zemích je zastoupeno nejvýraznější procento singles, kde je jich naopak nejméně a proč. Druhá část se věnuje životnímu stylu mladých lidí, kteří žijí bez partnera v jednočlenné domácnosti, nejen sféře placené práce, ale i způsobu bydlení, stravování a trávení volného času. Na závěr se práce zaměří i na alternativní vztahy singles.

Abstract:

Teoretically concieved thesis focuses on issues of young people who live in one-person households without companion and children. The first part of thesis defines issues of young people living without partner and also focuses on the stigmatization and typology of singles. The thesis follows up demografical characteristics of the age and education of singles. This issues are also explained in case of different gender and social classes. Fot the more we analyze the establishment of this phenomena and the conditions of spreading which is caused mostly by the second demografic transition, individualization, admittance of women on labour market etc. Fot the more we compare international and national situation, it means where is the highest and the lowest percentage of singles and why. The second part of thesis focuses on lifestyle of young people living in one-person household without partner. This part of thesis includes the issues of payed job, the way of living, food and spending free time. At last the thesis solves the topic of alternative partnerships of singles.
