Díky rapidnímu rozvoji nanotechnologií a stále se rozrůstající oblasti jejich využití můžeme očekávat i jejich rostoucí výskyt životním prostředí. A protože vlastnosti nanomateriálů a jejich osud v prostředí není často zcela znám, nabývá na významu otázka hodnocení jejich toxicity. Due to a rapid development in nanotechnologies that provides new possibilities for nanomaterials applications, their presence in the environment followed by human exposure becomes inevitable.
