The Imprisonment in the Jail of Pardubice

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma Výkon trestu odnětí svobody ve Věznici Pardubice se zabývá zejména problematikou výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, jež je nastaven v rámci platného legislativního rámce v České republice, konkrétně pak ve Věznici Pardubice. Součástí teoretické části práce je vymezení pojmu výkon trestu ve všech jeho aspektech, zejména pak s ohledem na účel a funkci trestu a jeho zakotvení v rámci platného legislativního řádu. V rámci teoretické části jsou popsány programy zacházení, odborné profese působící v rámci výkonu trestu a základní charakteristika postpenitenciární péče. Dále jsou vymezena specifika odsouzených ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a práva a povinnosti odsouzených. Důležitou součástí teoretické části je také představení Věznice Pardubice. Celá teoretická část je doplněna o názory sociálního pracovníka, psychologa a vychovatele na výkon trestu odnětí svobody, konkrétně pak účinnosti programů zacházení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on The imprisonment in the Jail of Pardubice deals mainly with the issue of imprisonment, which is set within the valid legislative framework in the Czech Republic, namely Pardubice Prison. Part of the theoretical part of the thesis is the definition of the concept of punishment in all its aspects, especially with regard to the purpose and function of the punishment and its anchoring under the valid legislative order. Within the theoretical part are described the treatment programs, the professional professions in the execution of punishment and the basic characteristics of postpenitentiary care. Furthemore, the specifics of convicted prisoners and the rights and obligations of the convicted are defined. An important part of the theoretical part is also the performance of Pardubice Prison. The whole theoretical part is supplemented by opinions of a social worker, psychologist and educator on imprisonment, namely the effectiveness of treatment programs.
