Psychedelics are used for studying severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia because of their unique ability to mimic some of its symptoms. This thesis evaluates a psychedelic called psilocybin (hallucinogenic compound of magic mushrooms) due to its influence on an indicator of early processing named mismatch negativity (MMN).
