Abstract:
Tato studie analyzuje lesy dračích stromů (Dracaena cinnabari) v oblasti Firmihinu na Sokotrě v Jemenu s využitím satelitních snímků z roku 2007. Analýza hodnotí hustotu stromů a věkovou strukturu korun stromů v roce 2007, porovnává tyto hodnoty s inventurou z roku 2021 a odhaduje úbytek lesů. This study analyzes Dragon's Blood Tree (Dracaena cinnabari) forests in Firmihin, Socotra, Yemen, using satellite imagery from 2007. The analysis evaluates tree density and crown age structure in 2007, compares these values to a 2021 inventory, and estimates forest loss.
