Urban Aspects in Socio-Cultural Context in the Lesná and Písečník Town District

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kulturními a sociálními aspekty života obyvatel sídliště Lesná v kontextu jejich sídliště a nedaleké bývalé nouzové dělnické kolonie Písečník. Pomocí kvalitativního šetření jsou zde zjišťovány vazby na veřejný prostor a celkové sociální a kulturní klima ve dvou zmiňovaných oblastech.V první části práce je nastíněn historický vývoj měst, souvislosti mezi urbanismem a životem ve městech, v daší části jsou shrnuty poznatky o Lesné a Písečníku a jejich sociální a kulturní aspekty. V poslední části je uvedeno kvalitativní šetření zabývající se výše zmiňovanou problematikou.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the cultural and social aspects of the life of the inhabitants of the Lesná housing estate in the context of their housing estate and the nearby former workers' colony of Písečník. The qualitative survey is focused on the links to the public space and the overall social and cultural climate in the two mentioned areas. The first part of the thesis outlines the historical development of the towns, the connection between urbanism and the life in the towns, in the next section there are summarized the findings of Lesná and Písečník their social and cultural aspects. In the last part, a qualitative survey dealing with the aforementioned issues is mentioned.
