The Pain from the View of Paramedic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá bolestí u pacientů pohledem zdravotnického záchranáře. Teoretická část práce se zabývá definicí bolesti. Práce se soustřeďuje na diagnostiku bolesti, a především na léčbu bolesti, kterou rozděluje na farmakologickou a nefarmakologickou. V rámci farmakologické léčby bolesti zohledňuje veškeré možné současné farmakologické i nefarmakologické postupy. V praktické části probíhalo kvantitativní výzkumné šetření formou online dotazníku, který probíhal mezi lékaři a nelékařskými zdravotnickými pracovníky zaměstnaných na Oddělení urgentním příjmu ve Fakultní nemocnici Motol a Zdravotnické záchranné službě hlavního města Prahy. Cílem je zjistit přístup k řešení bolesti a její terapie u přednemocniční a nemocniční péči, jednotlivé zkušenosti a edukaci odborníků a celkově sleduje posouvání hranic v tomto neustále aktuálním tématu. Závěr je věnován větší osvětě o dané problematice a apelace na větší edukaci a racionalizaci léčby opioidy.

Abstract:

Topic of the bachelor thesis is The Pain from the View of Paramedic. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition of pain, its localization in the human body and specifies different types of pain. The thesis also deals with diagnosis as well as focusing on the therapy which is divided into pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment. Furthermore as far as the pharmacological treatment is concerned, i tis divided into non-opioid and opioid analgesics. The practical part is dedicated to quantitative research survey in form of the online questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent to the medical doctors and non-medical health workers that work in Emergency Care in University Hospital Motol and in Ambulance Service in the Capital City of Prague. The main goal is to find out the approach to the treatment of pain in prehospital and emergency hospital care, individual experiences and the education of professionals and overal it observes the advances made in this up-to-date topic. The end of the thesis is dedicated to enlightement of this problematics it appeals on better education and rationalization in opioid treatment.
