Expectations of the users of social service SOCIAL ASSISTENCE Ostrava and Bohumin

Abstract:

V rámci této práce si kladu za cíl zodpovědět základní výzkumnou otázku: „Jaká jsou očekávání uživatelů z hlediska možnosti naplňovat jejich cíle za podpory služby SOCIÁLNÍ ASISTENCE Ostrava, Bohumín?“. Sociální asistence je sociálně aktivizační služba pro rodiny s dětmi, jež se zabývá tématem sociálního fungování rodin, které se ocitly v obtížné životní situaci. Při zodpovídání základní výzkumné otázky jsem se zabývala motivací uživatele k využití služby, problémy, které uživatele vedly k tomu, že se na službu obrátil, jeho počátečním očekáváním, tím, jestli jsou očekávání v souladu s nabídkou služby, změnou očekávání, cíli spolupráce a aktivitě uživatele při dosahování jeho cílů. Abych získala empirická data, zvolila jsem metodu porozumění, kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii, konkrétně metodu strukturovaného rozhovoru. Získané poznatky, tj. znalost očekávání uživatelů služby sociální asistence, přispějí k tomu, aby nabízená služba vyšla více vstříc potřebám uživatelů, dále je mohou pracovníci využít při aktualizaci metodické příručky pro poskytování této sociální služby.

Abstract:

As a part of this thesis, my aim is to answer the following research question: what are the expectations of the users with regards to the opportunities to fullfill their goals under the help of SOCIAL ASSISTANCE Ostrava and Bohumin? Social assistance is a social activation service for families with children, who deals with social functioning of families, who have found themselves in a difficult life situation. My aim in answering the research question was to address the motivation of users to come forvard and use the service, the problems which led the user to use the service, users initial expectations and whether users expectations are achievable with what the service is able to offer, changes in expectations, the aim of the cooperation between user and social service and the aktivity of the user to achieve his expectations. To obtain empiric data, I chose the method of understanding, the ualitative research strategy, namely the method of structured interview. The obtained informatik, i. e. the knowledge of expectations from user sof social service will contribute to more come home care to meet the needs of the users. Also, the workers can use it to update the methodological handbook for providing the service.
