Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Regenerace brownfieldů na příkladu vybraného města“ je analyzovat a identifikovat možnosti a dopady regenerace ve městě Brně se zaměřením na rozvojovou zónu brněnského Jižního centra. První část se zaměřuje na teoretický základ brownfields, načež práce navazuje na stručnou historii města Brna, jeho přístupy k revitalizaci a vymezení Jižního centra. Nezbytnou součástí práce je dotazníkové šetření, které analyzuje povědomí veřejnosti o vznikající nové Jižní čtvrti a názory veřejnosti na novou polohu hlavního nádraží. Práci uzavírá případová studie vybraných brownfields na území Jižního centra.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis “Brownfields Regeneration of a Selected City Example” is to analyze and identify possibilities and impacts of regeneration in the city of Brno with a focus on the development zone of the South Centre. The first part focuses on the theoretical basis of brownfields whereat the thesis follows by a brief history of Brno, its approaches to revitalization, and the definition of the South Centre. An essential part of the work is a questionnaire survey, which analyses public awareness of the emerging new South Centre and public opinion on the new location of the main rail station. The work concludes with a case study of selected brown-fields in the South Centre.
