Theory and practice of modern feminism: Women's movement in USA.

Abstract:

The thesis will be devided into two parts : theoretical and practical. Theoretical part will deal with origin of the concept and about waves of feminism, psychology of feminists, liberal and radical concept of feminism, we will know more about women's lives, their feelings and about what does it mean to be a feminist. In this part I will describe the problem of sexuality, family relations and domestic violence. Furthermore, in this part I will write about men, who are telling that they are feminists. The practical part will deal with thoughts of students. The main goal of survey will be to find out what do they know about feminism, I will ask about their attitudes, what people find the most interesting in this topic.

Abstract:

Práce bude rozdělena do dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá původem koncepce a vlnami feminismu, psychologií feministů, liberálním a radikálním konceptem feminismu, víme více o životě žen, jejich pocitů a o tom, co to znamená být feministkou. V této části budu popisovat problém sexuality, rodinných vztahů a domácího násilí. Dále v této části budu psát o mužích, kteří říkají, že jsou feministy. Praktická část se zabývá myšlenkami studentů. Hlavním cílem průzkumu bude zjištění toho, co vědí o feminismu, budu se ptát na jejich postoje, co považují za nejzajímavější v tomto tématu.
