Perkutánní RFA může ve velkém počtu případů osteoidního osteomu spolehlivě nahradit klasickou operační techniku s nízkou mírou komplikací, vysokou úspěšností a minimalizací invazivity a doby hospitalizace. U inoperabilních maligních nádorů při nedostatečném účinku konvenční terapie nabízí RFA novou účinnou alternativu k zajištění analgetického efektu. Abstract:
Percutaneus RFA can replace the classic surgical treatment of osteoid osteoma in most of cases thanks to the low complication rate, high efficacy, minimal invasivity and brief hospitalization. RFA offers advantageous potent alternative to insufficiently efficacious conventional palliative pain therapy in patients suffering from inoperable malignant tumors.
