Seniors' education in the field of information and communication technologies to U3A

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá teorií jak vymezených pojmů z oblasti sociologie, gerontologie a andragogiky, tak i postavením role seniora ve společnosti. Dále se zabývá různými formami ve vzdělávání seniorů, jako je například Univerzita třetího věku, Akademie třetího věku, apod. V neposlední řadě také jejími cíli, funkcemi, metodami, specifiky ve vzdělávání seniorů, faktory ovlivňujícími proces vzdělávání a kompetencemi ve vzdělávání seniorů na U3V. Do teoretické části je zahrnuta didaktická technika, její představení a didaktický proces ve vzdělávání dospělých. Nedílnou součástí práce je výzkum kvantitativní a kvalitativní. Kvantitativní výzkum se zabývá především četností využívání ICT technologií seniory, jak po softwarové, tak hardwarové stránce. Kvalitativní výzkum je zaměřen na využívání didaktické techniky ve výuce, probíraná témata a ověřování znalostí a dovedností v kurzu Výpočetní technika. Posledním bodem práce je porovnání výzkumu kvantitativního a kvalitativního.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the theories as defines concepts in the fields of sociology, gerontology and adult education, as well as the position of senior roles in society. It also deals with various forms of education for the elderly, such as the University of the Third Age, Academy of the Third Age, etc. Last but not least, its objectives, functions, methods, specifics of education for the elderly, factors affecting the education and competencies in the education of seniors at U3A. The theoretical part includes didactic technology, its performance and the educational process in adult education. The quantitative and qualitative researches are also integral parts of my thesis. The quantitative research mainly deals with the frequency of the use of ICT by seniors, both software and hardware. Qualitative research focuses on the use of educational technology in the classroom, the topics discussed and verification of knowledge and skills in computer courses. The last point of the work is to compare the quantitative and qualitative researches.
