Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zapojení Spojených států amerických do syrské občanské války mezi lety 2011 a 2016. Práce seznamuje čtenáře s teoretickým rámcem pojmu světová mocnost v mezinárodních vztazích, který je následně aplikován na příklad amerického angažmá v syrském konfliktu. The bachelor thesis is focused on the engagement of the United States of America in the Syrian Civil War between the years 2011 and 2016.
