Abstract:
This thesis deals with soil moisture and drought monitoring in South Moravia using remote sensing data. First, we provide a detailed overview of potential methods. Then, we discuss relevant data sources. The main output of the thesis is a set of maps presenting the Vegetation Condition Index (VCI) in South Moravian Region over the period 2001-2011.
