Influence of the presence of chromium and niobium oxides on the physicochemical properties of TiO\dindex{2}

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá studiem vlivu oxidů chromu a niobu na strukturní, optické a fotokatalytické vlastnosti fotokatalyzátorů TiO2. Fotokatalyzátory o koncentracích 0,05 % a 0,5 % Cr a Nb byly připraveny mokrou impregnační metodou. Pro studium strukturních vlastností byla použita metoda Ramanovy spektroskopie, rentgenové difrakční analýzy (XRD) a teplotně programované redukce (TPR). Optické vlastnosti byly studovány za pomocí metody difuzně reflexní UV-vis spektroskopie. Fotokatalytická aktivita byla zkoumána při fotokatalytického rozkladu vodného roztoku metanolu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the influence of chromium oxide and niobium pentoxide on the structural, optical and photocatalytic properties of photocatalysts TiO2. Photocatalysts with the concentrations of 0,05 % a 0,5 % Cr and Nb were prepared by the wet impregnation method. To study the structural properties, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) were utilized. The optical properties were studied using the UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy method. The photocatalytic activity was studied during the decomposition of methanol.
