Diamond as a fixed investment also for Czech investor

Abstract:

Tento text je zaměřen na investování do diamantů. Informuje o vzniku a vývoji diamantů a jejich základním hodnocení. Vysvětluje parametry 4C. Zabývá se certifikací diamantů. Objasňuje tzv. Rapaport diamond report a další aspekty, ovlivňující cenu diamantu. Řeší hledisko investování do diamantů. Předkládá základní investiční doporučení. Zdůrazňuje legislativu spojenou s obchodem s diamanty – Kimberleyský proces. Zmiňuje také sociální aspekty vlastnictví diamantu především v době války. Dále je představena česká společnost D.I.C. a.s., která se obchodem s touto komoditou zabývá. Je zde porovnána informovanost o diamantech jako investici v zahraničí a v ČR. Také je zde podrobně rozepsána současná situace na českém trhu v této oblasti. Přesně specifikuje nákup diamantu na burze a na území České republiky. Zaměřuje se na likviditu této komodity. Klade si za cíl dokázat, že diamant je vhodný investiční nástroj a vysvětlit proč.

Abstract:

This text is intens on investing in diamonds. It acquaints with origin and development of the diamonds and their basic classification. It explains parameters 4C and deals with diamonds certification. It clears up so - called „Rapaport diamond report“ and other aspects which influence diamond prices. It solves standpoint of investing in diamonds and introduces basic investment recommendations. It stresses the legislation connected with the diamond trade – Kimberley´s case. It also makes reference to the social aspects of the diamond ownership, especially during the war. There is next presented the Czech company called D.I.C. Inc., which is concerned with a trade in diamonds. There is also compared the informedness about the diamonds as an investment abroad and in the Czech Republicc. There is also presented the current situation in this field in the Czech market. It specifies the purchasing of diamonds at the world stock exchange and the Czech Republic. It targets the liquidity of this commodity. The main aim is to demonstrate that the diamond is a suitable investment and explain why.
