Market analysis motor hull insurance in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci se zabývám problematikou havarijního pojištěním motorových vozidel (osobních a užitkových do 3.5 tuny). V úvodních kapitolách práce popisuji historický vývoj pojišťovnictví ve světě a v ČR, včetně vývoje právní úpravy pojišťovnictví v souvislosti s implementací evropského práva do práva ČR až do současnosti. Následující kapitoly detailně představují produkt samotného havarijního pojištění „od A až po Z“ v co možná nejsrozumitelnější formě, tak aby tato formulace byla pochopitelná i laické veřejnosti (potencionálním klientům pojišťovny). Postavení jednotlivých pojistitelů na trhu a srovnávací studie produktu u vybraných pojistitelů dle zvolených kritérií pak tvoří závěrečnou část práce.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the topic of motor hull insurance of personal and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 t. I describe the past development of insurance all over the world and in the Czech Republic, including the development of the legal background of insurance with regard on implementation of European law into the Czech law until present days in initiate chapters. Subsequent chapters in detail introduce the product of motor hull insurance in the most understandable form, to be understandable even for public (potential insurance clients). The bearing of particular insurance companies on the market and comparative study of the product at chosen insurance companies according chosen criteria create the final part of my thesis.
