Structure of young penduculate oak stands at the LZ Židlochovice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá strukturou mladých porostů dubu letního (Quercus robur L.) na lužních stanovištích LZ Židlochovice, na polesí Velký Dvůr. Cílem práce bylo analyzovat strukturu mladých dubových porostů ve věku od zajištění do zhruba 20 let. Dílčím cílem práce bylo vyhodnocení vlivu intenzity použitého druhu pěstebního zásahu na tloušťkový přírůst v porostech v období mlazin. Bylo zjištěno, že šetřené porosty dubu letního odpovídají co do počtu jedinců a kvality pěstebním předpokladům dubu letního na těchto stanovištích. Šetření dále ukázala na nezbytnost intenzivnější výchovy v porostech ze síje a na význam zásahů v mladých porostech. I přes odpovídající hustotu a kvalitu analyzovaných porostů lze z pěstebního hlediska upozornit na chybějící zastoupení výchovných dřevin jako je habr nebo lípa.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the structure of young penduculate oak (Quercus robur L.) stands on floodplain habitats at the LZ Židlochovice, in the area Velký Dvůr. The work was focused on the structure of young oak stands analysis at the age from securing to about 20 years. A partial aim of the work was to evaluate the influence of the used type of cultivation intervention on the thickness increase in the period of the young growth stands. It was found that the investigated stands of penduculate oak correspond in terms of number of individuals and the quality to the growing conditions of penduculate oak in these habitats. The survey also showed the need for more intensive education in soybean stands and the importance of interventions in young stands. Despite the corresponding density and quality of the analyzed stands, from the perspective of growing there is an opportunity to point out the lack of educational tree species such as hornbeam or linden.
