Simple generator of UML class diagram for Python

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl navázat na práci kolegy Daniela Hrebeně, a jím vyvinutý program dále rozšířit o nové funkcionality, které přinesou jeho uživatelům nové možnosti při práci s diagramy UML. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Jednak je to část samotné implementace programu neboli části praktické, za druhé pak této části teoretické, která je rozdělena do několika částí. V první části práce se věnuji souhrnu současného stavu prací v oblasti generování UML diagramů, stejně tak jako možnostem analýzy zdrojových kódů a inspirace pro vývoj nových funkcionalit. V následující kapitole pak přináším analýzu výchozího stavu aplikace a návrhu nových funkcionalit současně s analýzou dostupných nástrojů a technologií pro vývoj. V kapitole architektury se poté věnuji analýze výchozího návrhu aplikace z pohledu práce s daty a přináším pohled, jak na takovou architekturu navázat. Následně se věnuji samotné implementaci aplikace. V této kapitole, která působí jako těžiště této práce, podrobně popisuji návrh a implementaci stanovených funk-cionalit a práci s nimi.

Abstract:

This work aims to build on the work of a colleague Daniel Hrebeň, and further develop of his program with new functionalities that will bring its users new possi-bilities when working with UML diagrams. This work consists of two parts. First part is the implementation of new functional-ities as the practical part, second part is the theoretical part, which is divided into several chapters. In the first chapter I deal with a summary of the current state of work in the field of generating UML diagrams, as well as the possibilities of source code analysis and inspiration for the development of new functionalities. In the next chapter, I present an analysis of the initial state of the application and the design of new functionalities, along with an analysis of available tools and technologies for development. In the architecture chapter, I then analyze the initial design of the application from the point of view of working with data and bring a view of how to build on such an architecture. Subsequently, I focus on the implementation of the application itself. In this chap-ter, which acts as the focus of this work, I describe in detail the design and imple-mentation of the specified functionalities and it’s work with them.
