Diplomová práce si klade dva hlavní úkoly – provést žánrovou analýzu románu Doba z druhé ruky Světlany Alexijevičové a zasadit tento román do kontextu podobné literatury. Teorii a základním pojmům se věnuje první kapitola. Před samotnou analýzou jsou představeny dřívější práce věnující se žánru v dílech Světlany Alexijevičové. This thesis aims to perform two tasks – to do a genre analysis of Svetlana Alexievich’s novel Secondhand Time and to provide it with a comprehensive literary context. The theory and basic concepts are briefly introduced in the first chapter. Before the analysis, earlier works dealing with the genre in the works of Svetlana Alexievich are presented.
