Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with Giuseppe Scarlatti - an Italian music composer of the 2nd half of the 18th century, and his comic opera Dove è amore è gelosia. The main goal of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with the life and work of this mostly unknown composer, more specifically with his opera mentioned above. This thesis is divided into four parts.
