Polyethylen grafted by vinyl silane

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním vlastností síťovaného i nesíťovaného silanem roubovaného polyetylenu. Síťováním se dosahuje zlepšení mechanických vlastností materiálu, který se potom využívá v různých aplikacích. Vliv síťování se sledoval pomocí metody infračervené spektroskopie a diferenciální skenovací kalorimetrie a výsledky se porovnaly s nesíťovaným materiálem. Rovněž se zkoumal obsah gelu v síťovaných vzorcích, jenž je dominantním parametrem, který ovlivňuje vlastnosti a řídí chování síťovaného polyetylenu. Ke stanovení obsahu gelu byla použita extrakce v xylenu pod zpětným chladičem (oddělení sol-gel) a nerozpustná frakce gelu byla opět podrobena zkoumání výše zmíněnými metodami.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with investigating the properties of crosslinked and uncrosslinked silane grafted polyethylene. Generally, crosslinking improves mechanical properties; therefore it is useful in many applications. Crosslinked effect was followed by infrared spectroscopy and differencial scanning calorimetry and the results were compared with uncrosslinked material. Gel content of crosslinked samples was also investigated since it is dominating parameter which affects properties and prescribes the behavior of a given type of crosslinked polyethylene. Reflux extraction in xylene (solution sol-gel) was used for determination of gel content and insoluble gel fraction was investigated again by the methods mentioned above.
