Abstract:
Lektiny jsou proteiny specificky interagující se sacharidovými jednotkami. Velmi často díky této vazbě dochází k buněčné interakci. Příkladem může být adheze patogenu k hostitelskému organismu, což může umožnit infekci. Tento mechanismus je využíván mnoha viry i bakteriemi a jejich toxiny. Abstract:
Lectins are proteins that interact specifically with carbohydrate moieties. Cell to cell interactions can be mediated by this bond. As an example, the adhesion of a pathogen to a host cell can be mentioned. This connection enables the own infection. Photorhabdus spp. are Gram-negative soil bacteria that live in a mutualistic relationship with Heterorhabditis spp. nematodes. Together, they form an entomopathogenic …more
