Josef Horňáček Institution: Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University in Brno Department: Social Policy and Social Work Title: The effectiveness of graduate recruitment in transnational company Number of words: 20 543 This thesis deals with evaluation of the effectiveness of the recruitment process in a multinational company. Attention is focused on the financial and time efficiency of recruitment as well as the quality of the whole process. Evaluation of effectiveness is focused on graduates as a source of labor force in the labor market. The work is divided into three basic parts. The first is a theoretical part which explains the terms relating to the recruitment process itself and its effectiveness. It further describes the processes of recruitment, as they are transferred in the selected company. Work continues with methodological part where is a definition of research strategy. The work uses mixed method research, specifically embedded model. Data collection methods based on the nature of the research is the analysis of documents and semi-structured interviews with recruiters and HR manager. The following are specified research questions that are operationalized in subresearch questions. Empirical part analyzes gained knowledge through the set strategy and responds to the research questions with the aim to answer the main research question. The aim of the research and all of the work is to assess how the recruitment process is designed in the organization and what it its effectiveness in terms of time, money and quality. The work tries to answer the main research question: “What is the effectiveness of recruiting graduates into a transnational company?”

Josef Horňáček Inštitúcia: Fakulta sociálních studií, Masarykova unviezita v Brně Katedra: Sociální politiky a sociální práce Názov práce: Efektivita náboru absolventov do nadnárodnej organizácie Počet slov: 20 543 Táto diplomová práce sa zaoberá hodnotením efektivity procesu náboru v nadnárodnej spoločnosti. Pozornosť je zameraná na finančnú a časovú efektivitu náboru rovnako ako na kvalitu celého procesu. Hodnotenie efektivity sa pritom orientuje na absolventov ako zdroj pracovnej sily na trhu práce. Práca je rozdelená do troch základných častí. Prvá je cast teoretická, ktorá vysvetľuje jednotlivé pojmy, ktoré sa týkajú samotného procesu náboru a jeho efektivity. Ďalej popisuje procesy v oblasti náboru, tak ako sú prevedené vo vybranej spoločnosti. Práca pokračuje časťou metodologickou, kde dochádza k stanoveniu výzkumnej stratégie. Práca využíva metódu zmiešaného výskumu, konkrétne vložený model. Metódy zberu dát na základe povahy výskumu sú analýza dokumentov a pološtruktúrovaný rozhovor s personalistami a HR manažérom. Ďalej sú stanovené výzkumné otázky, ktoré sú operacionalizované do dielčích výzkumných otázok. Časť empirická analyzuje získané poznatky prostredníctvom stanovenej stratégie a odpovedá na formulované výskumné otázky s cieľom odpovedať na hlavnú výzkumnú otázku. Cieľom výskumu a celej práce je zhodnotiť akým spôsobom prebieha proces náboru v organizácii a aká jej jeho efektivita z hľadiska času, financií a kvality. Práca sa snaží odpovedať na hlavnú výzkumnú otázku: “Aká je efektivita náboru absolventov do nadnárodnej spoločnosti?”
