Apttitude of Teachers to Pupils with Epilepsy in Primary School

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá epilepsií, žáky s epilepsií a postojem pedagogů k těmto žákům. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První tři kapitoly se týkají teoretické části a čtvrtá kapitola zahrnuje část praktickou. V první kapitole jsem se zaměřila převážně na původ a historii epilepsie, somatopedie a charakteristiku chronických emocí, mezi které epilepsie patří. V druhé kapitole se věnuji neurologii, nervové soustavě, epilepsii a její léčbě. A ve třetí kapitole jsem se zaměřila na život člověka s epilepsií, vliv rodiny, vzdělávání i možnosti volného času a zaměstnání. Čtvrtá kapitola je čistě praktická. Jsou zde zpracovány výsledky z výzkumu, který proběhl na základních školách, a to prostřednictvím dotazníků. Dotazníky jsem rozdala učitelům na těchto školách a snažila se tak zjistit jejich názory na žáky s epilepsií a na přístup k těmto žákům.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with epilepsy, children with epilepsy and attitudes of teachers to these pupils. The work is divided to four chapters. The first three chapters concern the theoretical part and the fourth chapter includes practical. In the first chapter, I focused mainly on the origin and history of epilepsy, history of somatopaedia and characteristics of chronic disease, which include epilepsy. The second chapter is devoted to neurology, nervous system, epilepsy and treatment of epilepsy. And in the third chapter, I focused on the lives of people with epilepsy, the influence of family, education and leisure opportunities and employment. The fourth chapter is purely practical. Here are the results obtained from research conducted in primary schools, through questionnaires. I distributed questionnaires to teachers at these schools and were trying to find out their views on children with epilepsy and access to these pupils.
