Vocabulary enrichment in internet communication

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nazvaná Obohacování slovní zásoby v internetové komunikaci se zabývá obohacováním slovní zásoby o specifické výrazy a jazykové prostředky, jež užívají matky v internetové komunikaci. Cílem diplomové práce je výzkum prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, shromáždění výrazů a vytvoření slovníku vyjadřování matek při komunikaci na portálu www.facebook.com. V teoretické části se práce věnuje diferenciaci a stratifikaci našeho národního jazyka, slovní zásobě a způsobům jejího obohacování, elektronické komunikaci a charakteristice portálu www.facebook.com. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu výsledků dat z dotazníkového šetření, charakteristiku vybraných zájmových skupin portálu www.facebook.com, utřídění získaných výrazů do oblastí se stejným tématem a slovníkovou část. Na konci této práce se nachází příloha, jež zahrnuje tabulku českých akronymů a dotazník.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis named Vocabulary enrichment in internet communication deals with vocabulary enrichment with specific expressions and language means which are used by mothers in internet communication. The aim of this thesis is research through survey with questionnaire, gathering of the expressions and compilation of a dictionary of mothers' expressions in communication on the portal www.facebook.com. In the theoretical part the thesis focuses on the differentiation and stratification of our national language, our vocabulary and forms of its enrichment. Moreover, possible ways of internet communication are described and the portal www.facebook.com is characterized. The practical part occupies itself with analysis of the data which was obtained from the research. Furthermore, the characteristics of selected interest groups of the portal www.facebook.com is included and the classification of the acquired expressions into the areas with the same topic and a dictionary part. At the end of this thesis is the attachment which includes a table of Czech acronyms and the questionnaire.
