This Bachelor paper deals with three political plays of British playwright Harold Pinter. The aim of this thesis is to portray people living in some kind of oppression. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá třemi politickými hrami britského spisovatele Harolda Pintera. Cílem této práce je zobrazit lidi žijící pod nátlakem. Tato práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část popisuje totalitní režimy. Pokračuje na popis Holocautu. V praktické části jsou znázorněni utlačovatelé a oběti režimů.
