Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice demografických změn v německé společnosti. Pojednává zejména o klesající porodnosti a s tím souvisejícím stárnutím populace. Dále se pojednává o migraci a jejich demografických dopadech. Pozornost je věnována možným důvodům klesající porodnosti, vzdělání a zaměstnaností žen a změnám životního stylu.
