Interlace polynomial
Abstract:
Předmětem práce je grafový invariant známý jako proplétací polynom. Nejprve se podíváme na okolnosti vedoucí k jeho vzniku a poté popíšeme jeho základní vlastnosti s pomocí dříve publikovaných článků. Nakonec se pokusíme najít iterativní předpis polynomu pro třídu "šestiúhelníkových" grafů.
Abstract:
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the graph invariant known as the interlace polynomial. We will first take a look at the circumstances that led to its creation, before describing its basic properties using previously-published articles. We will then try to find the iterative formula of the polynomial for the class of "hexagonal" graphs.
